Williamsport

Maria L. (Schultz) Colliflower formerly of Frederick, Maryland and most recently at Homewood Nursing Home, Williamsport, Maryland. Maria was born to Dollie J. Schultz and raised and adopted by maternal grandparents Albert and Isabelle Schultz of Frederick, Maryland. Surviving are one sister Caroline E. Price of Frederick, Maryland and one biological half brother Dallas L. Watkins & wife, Susan of Washington state. Maria also had many nieces, nephews and cousins who survived her. Most importantly, she is survived by her only son Eric and his wife, Dianna. God blessed Maria with these two wonderful people who added to the family seven grandchildren. Erica (Colliflower) and Nathan Fox, two great grandchildren, Luke and Abe Fox of Germany, Elizabeth (Colliflower) and Tim Haw of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Elijah and Kristine Colliflower of Pinedale, Wyoming, Edel (Colliflower) and Manuel Castillo of Denver, Colorado, Edmund and Rebecca Colliflower of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Edith Colliflower of Denver and Edgar Colliflower of Hagerstown, Maryland.

Maria is also survived by her best friend of 50+ years, Marta Burchardt, Frederick, Maryland. Brenda Blake of 40+ years, New Hope, Pennsylvania. In more recent years she became very close to friends with Carole Finello (deceased) Andrea Spicer of Frederick, Maryland and Sandy Fulmer, Braddock Heights, Maryland.

Maria also wished to acknowledge two people in her life that were invaluable to her, Betty and Charles Baugher (deceased), who helped her immensely while she was raising Eric. They always loved and supported her.

Maria enjoyed reading, watching old black and white movies and spending time with friends and family. In the past she was an avid doll collector. Many have commented on her incredible memory and could tell you many folks birthdates upon request.

One of her fondest trips taken was to Seattle, Washington with grandson Elijah visiting and family there. Upon a recent visit with grandson Edgar, he commented on how much fun we had playing cards and board games, especially Rook. Maria asked that the grandkids always think of her when playing cards and games.
