Maria Dillman Jeffers

Maria Dillman Jeffers passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2025. She was born on April 23, 1965 in Cheverly Md, to the late Robert and Kitty Dillman of Mount Airy MD. She is survived by her husband. Thomas of Mount Airy Md and her son, Dalton Jeffers and his fiancée Johanna Dobek of Front Royal Va. She also is survived by her sister, Kathy Dillman and her husband Rick Fleming of Mount Airy Md and two brothers, Richard Dillman Of Mount Airy Md and Ray Dillman of Williamsburg Va and her beloved step mother Janice Couch Dillman of Staunton Va.

Maria graduated from Damascus High School in 1983. She did various jobs working for the local McDonalds, the Gazette Newspapers, Moer & Leege CPA firm in Shady Grove before becoming an Office Manager and book keeper at Mulheron Tree Experts in Kensington in 2001 where she continued to work until her passing.

Maria and her husband Tom were married on November 23, 1996. They had their son Dalton on November 22, 2000. Maria was a loving and devoted wife to Thomas and proud Mother to Dalton. She happily supported both of them in all of their endeavors. She enjoyed watching Dalton play football and later, rugby.

Maria enjoyed being with her family and friends as well as traveling with Tom and Dalton to their taxidermy events and shows. She was also happy to spend quiet time reading books or working on her crafting projects like scrapbooking, quilting and sewing bags and purses.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday, August 16, at Stauffer Funeral Home located at 8 E Ridgeville Blvd, Mount Airy MD 21771, where a Memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM. There will be a reception afterward from 12:00-3:00 PM. Details to be provided at the memorial service.

Maria will be deeply missed by her family and all of her friends. She was taken from all of us much too soon.
