Maria Lucia Roe

Maria Lucia Roe, 97, of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Sunrise Retirement Center in Frederick.

Born on March 27, 1928, in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Grace (Vincigueria) Stivaletti. Maria was the wife of the late George R. Roe, who predeceased her in 1993.

Maria was an Accounting Technician for the National Labor Relations Board, in Washington, DC.

Surviving Maria are daughters Anne M. Campbell of Tucson, AZ and Kathleen J. Weddle and husband Donald of Frederick, MD; grandchildren Douglass Campbell, Jr., James M. Weddle, and Janet L. Weddle; great-grandchildren Heather Pesqueira, Madison Lancaster, and Layla Coleman; and brothers Joseph Stivaletti and Michael Stivaletti.

She was predeceased by son-in-law Douglass Campbell, Sr.; grandchild Jeanette Campbell: and sisters Annina Stivaletti and Lucia Stivaletti.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home; 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702
