Marilyn Ann Rooze

Marilyn Ann Rooze, 82, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital in Germantown, MD.

Born on July 13, 1940, in Newark, NY, she was the daughter of the late Camiel Rooze and Ethel Thorn Rooze.

Marilyn was a lifelong grower of flowers and belonged to the Montgomery Farm Women's Market in Bethesda where she displayed and sold her plants and flowers for more than 50 years. 

She is survived by her son, Neil Elin and wife Cathy of Easton, MD and her daughter, Molly Elin of Los Angeles, CA; as well as a grandson Andrew Elin. Marilyn was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lily Elin.

Services and interment will be private.
