Marjorie A. Morris
July 28, 1929 — December 17, 2006
Mrs. Marjorie A. Morris, 77, of Frederick died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Homewood of Crumland Farms. She was the wife for 56 � years to Hugh M. Morris.
Born in Alliance, OH on July 28, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Merritt and Louise (Jones) Goodwin. A graduate of the nursing program at George Mason University, Marjorie was director of nursing at the Asbury Assisted Living and also was nursing director at two other retirement homes. She was a member of the American Nursing Association.
A member at Brookhill United Methodist Church, she also was involved with the United Methodist Women's Group. She enjoyed her bible study and reading.
Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter, Cathi Fox and husband David of Jefferson; two sons, Russ Morris and wife Sue of Pasadena, TX and Steve Morris of Ocean City, MD; four grandchildren, Ryan, Renee, Mark and Ken Morris.
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Friday, January 12, 2006 from 6 until 8 pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland.
Services: A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Brookhill United Methodist Church with Rev. Conrad Link officiating.
