Mark Auldridge

Mark Andrew Auldridge, 72, of Keedysville, Maryland, passed peacefully from this life at his home on Saturday, October 11, 2025, with his wife by his side. He was the son of the late Davis Tillison Auldridge Jr. and Frankie Estelle (Little) Auldridge.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rebecca (Nee) Auldridge, and his four children, Hilary Lutz (Sean) of Townsend, DE, James Auldridge (Brandi Jo) of Falling Waters, WV, Emily Douglas (Ira) of Frederick, MD and Isaac Auldridge (Angela) of Boonsboro, MD, as well as 14 grandchildren, Shannon, Ethan, Nicholas, Nathan, Gabriel, Christian, Caleb, Kaylee, Grayson, Peyton, Beckett, Jillian, Mark and Luke, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Davis Michael Auldridge Sr., and his sister, Susan Elaine Spencer.

Mark was born on April 9, 1953, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, but spent most of his childhood in Burkittsville, Maryland. Following graduation from Brunswick High School in 1971, Mark worked as a carpenter for 28 years before beginning his second career in 1999 with Home Depot in Rockville. He later transferred to Hagerstown, where he worked until his retirement in 2021.

He was a former member of the Church of the Savior in Myersville, Maryland, and more recently attended Covenant Baptist Church in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.

Mark enjoyed cooking and a good bargain, but most of all, he loved his family and was very proud of every one of them.

A celebration of Mark's life will take place at 1pm on November 8 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Pastor Duke Jeffries will officiate. The family will spend time in fellowship with friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
