Marlee Williams

Marlee Williams, 88, of Williamsport, MD, passed from this life on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. A celebration of Marlee's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the funeral home. Rev. Tim May will officiate.

Mrs. Williams was born on March 5, 1938, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Melvin T. Fox and Rebecca Fox (Davis). Marlee was a graduate of Frederick High School, class of 1956. She was a member of the Centennial Memorial Church. She worked as a nurse at Frederick Memorial Hospital and later as an office manager with Frederick Office Center. She loved spending time with family and friends, painting (for which she won numerous awards), and singing with her beloved Centennial Belles.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas E. Williams Jr.

Marlee is survived by sons, Gregory F. Williams, Sr and his wife Terri Light, James D. Williams and his wife Karen Hess and Michael Williams, grandchildren, John McGuire (Carmie) of Atlanta, Patricia Baumgartner (Timothy) of Phoenix A; Gregory Williams JR. (Whitney)of Charles Town WV and Kyle Williams (Lindsay) of Martinsburg WV, Drew, Isabella and Gabe Williams of Fairfield PA, Donald Newcomb of Charles Town WV, Chad Ruppenthal of Philadelphia PA, Phillip Ruppenthal of Martinsburg WV, Matthew Ruppenthal of Chambersburg PA, great-grandchildren Sophie McGuire, Amber and Ty Baumgartner, Bailey Williams, Beau Williams, Theo Ruppenthal, Ashton Ruppenthal, Payton Ruppenthal, Bella Ruppenthal, Cole Ruppenthal, great-great-granddaughter Kehlani Ruppenthal.
