Marshall Samuel Farro

On April 8, 2023, Marshall Samuel Farro, age 77, of Mt Airy passed away at home under the care of Frederick Health Hospice. 

Born on September 27, 1945 in New Brunswick, NJ to Jack Farro and Alice Mair Farro. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ellen Dewitt Farro. Sons Jack A Farro and Eric C Farro (Laurabeth). Grandchildren, Phoenix Rimbey and Kai Rimbey. Sisters, Gail Hines (Larry) and Joann Rottman (Ron). Sisters in Law, Alice deWitt and Sandy Dutterer (Doug), Barbara Farro. Brothers in law Piet deWitt (Carole) , Woody Powell (Susan), William deWitt. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and  brothers Benjamin Farro and Sol Farro (Risa).

Marshall served in the Army and retired from the Social Security Administration.He enjoyed watching Maryland basketball and football and loved the Orioles and Ravens.
He spent a lot of his time at church, visiting the homebound and sick. He loved his family dearly and especially his two dogs, Baboo and Raven.

The family would like to thank the loving angels at Frederick Health Hospice.

The funeral will be held at 1100am on April 22, 2023 at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 27015 Ridge Road Damascus, MD 20872 Pastor John Bromhal officiating. There will be a light lunch afterward. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
