Martha Hubbell

Mrs. Martha Gallison Hubbell, 94, of Frederick, formerly of the Boston area, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at Buckingham's Choice where she had resided for the last two years. She was the wife of the late Dr. John P. Hubbell, Jr., who predeceased her in January of 2012. They were married in June of 1944 and enjoyed 67 years of marriage until his passing.
Born February 29, 1924 in Brookline, MA, she was the youngest of three daughters born to James and Mary (Kells) Gallison.
Martha was a very gracious, social and warm individual. She loved animals, especially her daughter's cats, and taking trips to the ice cream parlor.
Martha's family wishes to thank the staff and companions at Buckingham's Choice and Hospice of Frederick County for the wonderful care given to their mother.
She is survived by three children, Pam Robinson of Loganville, GA; John Hubbell and wife, Kathleen Reist, of Cambridge, MA; and Deb Hubbell, and husband, David Hudak, of Middletown, MD; 10 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Jerry Robinson in 2016; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Turngren in 2009.
The family will be having services at a later date in the Boston area.
