Martin Cooperson

Martin Cooperson Sr, 88, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. He was the husband of the late Helen Cooperson.
 
Born on July 2, 1935, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Louis Cooperson and Rose (Diamond) Cooperson. He resided in several places including Willingboro, NJ, Beltsville, MD, and most recently in Crestwood Village and Spring Arbor Assisted Living in Frederick.
 
He served in both the Air Force and Air National Guard. He graduated from Drexel Institute of Technology in 1964 with a degree in electrical engineering, working primarily for the federal government.
 
He is survived by his son Martin Cooperson Jr, and wife Denise of Lafayette, La; daughter Jennifer Williams and husband, Trevor of Frederick, Md; and granddaughter Elise Scotten of Frederick, MD.
 
He was predeceased by his son Michael Cooperson.
 
A graveside service will begin at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick.
