Marvin E. Gillispie

Marvin E. Gillispie, age 88, of White Hall, Maryland, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Lorien in Mount Airy, MD. He was the loving husband of Dorothy Ann Gillispie. Born on June 4, 1937, in Sparks, MD, to the late John W. Gillispie and Alma (Jones) Gillispie. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1955. He was a hard-working husband and father, owning and operating his own trucking company, "M & D Trucking," until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his five children and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by both parents and three siblings.

A celebration of Marvin's life will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Crossroads Christian Fellowship, 1211 Mt. Carmel Road, in Parkton, MD, with Rev. Brian Gillispie officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Life Baltimore, 2122 West Joppa Road, Lutherville, MD 21093.
