Mary Ann Wedlock passed from this life on August 12, 2023, at her home in Middletown, MD. She was the beloved wife of William John Wedlock, Jr.

Mary was born on July 3, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of Dorothy Ann (Heinlein) Krupa and the late Edmund Eugene Krupa, Jr and brought joy and love into the lives of those around her until the very end.

Mary’s vibrant spirit and compassionate nature touched the lives of many throughout her life. She dedicated herself to a career as a medical assistant, working tirelessly at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Shady Grove Hospital, and Allegheny General Hospital. Her dedication to caring for others was unmatched, leaving a lasting impact on patients and colleagues alike.

Mary’s thirst for knowledge led her to pursue her education with great determination. She proudly earned her high school diploma from North Hills High School in 1977 before continuing her studies to become a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mary possessed a wide range of interests and hobbies that brought immense joy into her life. She had a talent for painting and found solace in expressing herself through art. As an avid nature lover, she spent countless hours exploring the beauty of the world around her. Bird watching became a cherished pastime for Mary as she marveled at the wonders of flight and admired the diverse feathery creatures that graced our skies.

True to her adventurous spirit, Mary delighted in free exploring and discovering new horizons. Whether it was embarking on exciting journeys or simply sunbathing under clear blue skies, she embraced each moment with enthusiasm and an unwavering appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

But above all else, Mary treasured time spent with family and friends. She shared a deep bond with her husband William John Wedlock Jr., who provided unconditional love and support throughout their cherished years together. Their journey was blessed with two wonderful children, William John Wedlock III, and Melissa Marie Burdette, who brought immense happiness and pride into Mary's life. Her heart swelled with joy at the arrival of her two granddaughters, Sage Evelyn Wedlock and Lark Catherine Wedlock.
