Mary Bernice Coleman

Mary Bernice Coleman, 79, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. She was the loving wife to Reuben Benjamin Coleman, whom passed away on February 16, 2025.

Born on November 20, 1946, in the District of Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Walton Lowe and Mary Louise Sanford Tibbs.

She is survived by her son, Ben Coleman, and daughter, Dana Coleman; grandchildren, Candice Belcher, Krystle Jones, Carissa Coleman, and Casey Coleman; 15 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John Lowe, and Melvin Lowe.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Edna Mae Meadows and Peggy Cooke; and her brothers, Lonnie (Lee) Lowe, Richard Lowe, Edward Lowe, and James (Jimmy) Lowe.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
