Mary Timpson

Mrs. Mary Timpson, 85, of Frederick, passed away on November 6, 2023 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.  Born on December 12, 1937 in Frederick, Mary was a daughter of the late Frank and Emma J. Jackson.
She was a member of St. Paul AME Church and was a devoted, committed, and faithful member serving on the Usher Board, Steward and Stewardess Boards, Missionary Society, Hospitality Committee and Senior Choir.
She is survived by her daughter, Hilda Dianne James and son-in-law, Willie A. James and was a devoted sister to Margaret D. Bowie.  She is also survived by four grandchildren: LaShunta, LaRoz, Delia, and Dorsea as well as many great-grandchildren and several other relatives.
Mary was preceded in death by a son, Richard Bryant; a daughter, Karen Simms and a daughter, Kimberly Timpson.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, from 10 to 11 am at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
