Germantown

Megan Lynne Sengebusch, age 40, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 21, 2025.

Megan was born on October 20, 1985, at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, to Ernest and Patti Sengebusch. She grew up in Mount Airy, Maryland, where she formed lifelong friendships and deep family bonds.

Megan was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, fiancée, and friend. In addition to her parents, Ernest and Patti Sengebusch, she is survived by her beloved son, Hunter Kellar, who was truly the light of her life; her loving fiancé, James Kellar; and her sister, Caitlin Sengebusch. Megan’s love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she cherished the time she spent with James and Hunter above all else.

Known for her love of camo—an affection that even inspired her son’s name—Megan had a strong, unique spirit and a kind heart. She was deeply loved and supported by a wide circle of family and friends who were always ready to help her, just as she brought love and meaning into their lives.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Boulevard, Mount Airy, MD 21771.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Megan’s memory to Casey House (Montgomery Hospice, Inc.) or the American Diabetes Association.
