Mr. Michael Gilmore Strippey, 50, of Jefferson , MD , died Saturday – May 22, 2010 at Frederick Memorial Hospital . He was the loving husband of Barbara Strippey.

, he was the son of the late Eugene and Bonnie Swisher Strippey.
Mr. Strippey was the Director of Maintenance for the

Valley
Nursing
Center
in
Rockville
.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Christine Boyer and husband Charles, a granddaughter, Jessica Boyer, his brothers: Roger and wife Janis, Donald and wife Susan, his sisters; Carolyn Moton and husband Charles, Nancy King and husband Melvin and numerous nieces and nephews.

e was preceded in death by his loving black poodle “Precious”.
