Michael Gossard

Michael Lee Gossard, 62, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Doey's House in Hagerstown.

Born on February 3, 1964, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Lester Sanford and Ellen Mae (Moats) Gossard.

He was a graduate of Boonsboro High School Class of 1982.

Mike worked in construction for many years until illness took over.

He is survived by sisters, Diana L. Cook of Hagerstown and Laura S. Gossard and fiancé, Ted Dundus, Jr., of Sharpsburg; brother, Fred G. Gossard and wife, Ramona, of Sharpsburg; nephew, Zachary Cook of Hagerstown; uncle, Ralph Gossard of Hagerstown; and three wonderful friends, Terry and Lisa Judd, and Brian Myer.

A celebration of Mike's life journey will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland. Pastor Jonathan Laye will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
