Mr. Milton U. Randolph, 90 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Edwina Lee Randolph.
Born August 27, 1920 in Hyattstown, MD., he was the son of the late Leo and Mozelle Rollins Randolph.
Mr. Randolph was a member of Hope Hill United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Lodge, James E. Stewart #49, of New Market He enjoyed playing cards, horse racing and singing. He was the last of the original Gospel Jubilees after 50+ years. Milton served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by a son Robert Randolph, Gwendolyn Graves both of Frederick, Roxanne E. Randolph husband Benjamin of Poolesville and Eva Randolph of Frederick, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren, a sister-in-law Magruder Randolph of Gaithersburg. Many nieces, nephews, cousine and friends also survive. He was the last of his immediate family. Mr. Randolph was preceded in death by a daughter Natalie Adams, brothers George, Irving and Leo Randolph and sisters Margaret Randolph and Anna Curtis, sister-in-law’s Charlotte and Frances Randolph.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, January 30, from 2 -4 and 7 - 9:00 p.m. Services will be held Monday, January 31, at 1:00PM from the Hopehill United Methodist Church, 7647 Fingerboard Road, Frederick.
