Mira Anna Halusa (Kovacko) passed away in her home in Frederick, MD on February 10, 2015, after a 22 year, bed-bound battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She moved to the United States in 1966, from her home country of Croatia.
Mira is survived by her son, Goran and daughter-in-law Julia; grandchildren: Laura Roe; Cassy McDonald and husband Chad; and Thomas Roe; great grandchildren: Nora McDonald and Seth Adema.
Mira loved swimming, cross country skiing, playing cards (Pinochle), and taking scenic drives in Upstate New York.
