Mitchell Remer
January 16, 1926 — December 26, 2019
Mitchell Leon Remer, 93, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, December 26, 2019 at Tranquility at Fredericktowne. He was the loving husband of 29 years to Bertha Remer.
Born on January 16, 1926, he was the son of the late Richard and Lena (Sebol) Remer. Mitchell was a Technical Radioman of the United States Navy, serving our nation honorably as a World War II Veteran. He attended college at Miami University and worked as a computer programmer for the United States Government and privately as a tax preparer. Mitchell was a great and loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed nature, animals and taking walks outdoors.
He is survived by his children, Jeffrey A Remer, Robin Kough, Kevin Remer, Michael Copley and Gregory Remer. Stepchildren, Alan Brook, Renay Angel and Nadine Sachs. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Remer and his brother Bert Remer.
Services will be private and held at a later date.
