Nancy Diehl Sansone

Nancy Diehl Sansone, 93, of Boonsboro, passed from this life on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Fahrney - Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro. 

Born on January 27, 1930, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Albert S. and Ida K. (Fitzgerald) Diehl.

She worked as a computer specialist at Vitro, where she met her late husband, Eugene Sansone. Later she was employed at Controlled Data until her retirement. 

Nancy enjoyed ceramics, bowling, crocheting, and play the quarter game with her friends at the Village at Fahrney-Keedy. Her family meant the world to her and she enjoyed spending time with them, especially over the holidays. 

She is survived by one daughter, Susan L. Martin and husband, Rick, of Boonsboro; one son, Steven P. Sansone and wife, Kerry, of Point of Rocks, MD; two grandchildren, Heather Sgaggero and husband, Steve, of Clear Spring, and Chris Sansone and wife, Julie, of Wake Forest, NC; two step grandsons, Christopher Fisher of Richlands, NC and Jason Fisher of Frederick; great-grandson, Bennett Sgaggero; great-granddaughter, Naomi Sansone; and several nieces and nephews.  

Nancy was preceded in death by sisters, Frances Garrison and Harriet McDuffee; and brother, Charles Diehl. 

A celebration of Nancy 's life journey will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
