Ms. Nancy A. ( Bowers ) Tresselt, 81, of Frederick, died on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on September 5, 1926 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Lillian ( Kefauver ) Bowers. Ms. Tresselt was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. For many years she was a teacher for Frederick County Schools. She was a member of the Carroll Manor Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading and watching TV for relaxation. She had a special fondness for her pet cats.
Surviving are 1 son; Robert Tresselt and wife Suzanne of Snow Hill, MD 1 sister Alice Jenkins and husband John of Spokane, WA, 3 grandchildren; Allen Tresselt and wife Heather of Towaco, NJ, Sara Tresselt of Knoxville, Kenneth Tresselt of Frederick and a great-granddaughter Gretchen Tresselt.
Ms. Tresselt was preceded in death by her former husband Hugh B. Tresselt.
Visitation: Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Tuesday, June 3rd, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Services: Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
