Nevin C. Jackson, Jr.

Nevin C. Jackson, Jr. 74, of Thurmont, passed from this life on Saturday, February 24, 2024.  He was the husband of Kathy Jackson for nearly 45 years.  Born on March 25, 1949, in Frederick, he was the son of Nevin Carlton Jackson, Sr. and Bessie Viola (Baker) Jackson.

Nevin retired after 25 years of service with the Maryland State Highway Administration.  He was a life member of Thurmont and Lewistown Volunteer Fire Company.

In addition to his wife, Kathy, he is survived by his children, Jennifer Jackson, Kevin Jackson and wife Amanda and David Jackson and wife Jen; granddaughter, Dakota Mae Jackson and step-granddaughter McKenzie Horton.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont.
