Nikole "Niki" Morfessis

Nikole “Niki” Cynthia Morfessis, 15, of Walkersville, MD departed this world unexpectedly on April 22, 2022.

Welcomed into this life on November 25, 2006 by Kathleen Stine, Mother and Nikolaos Morfessis, Father in Frederick, MD.

A Walkersville High School student, class of 2025 who will be missed immensely by her friends and peers.

Niki is as resilient and strong as she is beautiful. Though she endured more than her share of trials throughout her short life and was often misunderstood, she gracefully sculpted her grief into beautiful works of art. So much beauty, so much life left ahead of her, like a flower cut down just as she was starting to bloom with the brightest of days ahead. She will be so dearly missed.

Her legacy is insurmountable, live like Niki. Take the hardened moments in life, and orchestrate them into a colorful mosaic that radiates positivity. Niki’s laugh is as big and full as her heart is with love. If you needed to cry, a laugh, a smile, someone to sit with, someone to hold you, someone to be honest and real, Niki was the first one there with you and the last one to leave you. For those who have gotten the opportunity to know her, know that she is a one-of-a-kind human. The Princess of our families. A selfless, kind, kindred, eccentric and now free soul.

Niki is survived by her Mother and Father, 5 Siblings, 10 Aunts, 5 Uncles, 20 Cousins, 2 Step-Parents, 2 Grandparents, 2 Step-Grandparents, and 1 Great Grandparent.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702.  A Celebration of her life service will follow at the funeral home on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
