Norma Jean Brawner Misner

Norma Jean Misner, 80, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD

Born on April 5, 1946, in Brunswick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Filmore Nalley and Louise Virts Weddle.

She worked for United Airlines and retired with over 30 years of service. She also owned DLN Trucking with her husband until his passing. Norma  was a life member of the Moose Lodge Chapter 347 in Frederick, MD. She was a caregiver to her mother until her passing. She enjoyed decorating, cooking, movies and word finds, but mostly she loved visiting with family and friends.

Surviving are her Daughter, Tammy Louise Mellow and husband Doug, Son, Clinton Davis Brawner, Granddaughter, Chelsea Sager and husband Chris, Grandson, Ryan Parsons and wife Perry, Grandson Trent Brawner and wife Jennifer, Grandson Cameron Brawner, Granddaughter, Brittanie Brawner, Grandson, Austin Brawner, Granddaughter, Amanda Brawner, Great Grandson Lucas Parsons, Great Grandson Quintin Brawner, Great Grandson Rowan Sager, Great Granddaughter Zoey Torrez, and Great Granddaughter Olivia Torrez.

She was preceded in death by Her Mother and Father, Stepfather Kenneth Weddle, Husband Daniel Misner, Brother, Raymond Nalley, and Brother Arnold Nalley, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Monday, May 4, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD 21788, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, May 5. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.
