Osmond "Ted" Snavely

Osmond "Ted" Snavely, 55, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Meritus Health Care Center in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Born on February 25, 1970, in San Francisco, California, he was the son of Robert Osmond Snavely and the late Margaret Naoma Snavely (Garland) .

Ted was a 1988 graduate of Boonsboro High School, Boonsboro, Maryland.

Ted enjoyed drawing, playing different types of games (including Dungeons and Dragons) and working on his computer. He also enjoyed any time he was able to spend with his niece Miranda, who called him Unkie.

He is survived by his father, Robert Osmond Snavely, his brother Robert Snavely (Kimberly), sister Rebecca Tillotson, nieces Miranda Snavely and Jamie Tillotson, and several cousins.

His is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Snavely.

A celebration of Ted's life journey will take place at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, January 7 at Saint James Brethern Church, 17718 Lappans Road, Fairplay, MD 21733. Interment will be held at a later date.
