P. Wayne Hawse

P. Wayne Hawse, 81, of Clarksburg, Maryland, passed from this life on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at his daughter's home.

Born on August 14, 1943, in Clarksburg, he was the son of the late William H. and Mary E. (Keith) Hawse.

Wayne retired from the Montgomery County Roads Department after 27 years of employment.

He was a life member of the Hyattstown Volunteer Fire Department. Wayne loved watching the Cowboys and Nascar and gardening. He enjoyed playing Poker with the boys and going to Hollywood Casino at Charles Town.

Wayne will be sorely missed by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Judy L. Hawse of Clarksburg; his daughter, Tammy L. Valentini of Mt. Airy; his fur babies, Angel and Shelby; and his brother, Allen Hawse of Clarksburg.

He was preceded in death by six sisters; and three brothers.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville in Mt. Airy, MD. Rev. Tim May will officiate. Burial will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Mount Airy. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in Mt. Airy.
