Patricia F. Flook

Patricia F. Flook, 92, of Myersville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at the Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy, MD.

Born on April 24, 1934, in Myersville, she was the daughter of the late Charles Shank and Rachael (Keller) Shank.

She was the wife of the late Carroll J. Flook, who died on February 27, 2011. They were married for 61 years and enjoyed antiquing and traveling throughout the world over the years.

She was a lifelong member of the Myersville Church of the Brethren and was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary for the Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village in Boonsboro.

She is survived by her sons, Carroll E. Flook and his wife Karen of Myersville and Leslie J. Flook of Myersville; her sisters Linda Ardinger and Mary Ann Ambrose. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Justin, Joseph, Bryan, Patty, Hollie and Wyatt Flook, and 5 great grandchildren. She was affectionately known as “Joe Mudder” to them. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey L. Flook.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. Rev. Tim May will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at the Grossnickle Cemetery in Myersville.
