Patricia Ann Franks

Patricia Ann Franks, 76, of Frederick, MD, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born on December 23, 1929 in Minneapolis, MN, she was the youngest of six children of Blanch Flynn and C.L. Franks. Patricia grew up and graduated high school in Minneapolis, later serving in the U.S. Navy hospital service. At one time she was stationed at the Bethesda Naval Hospital.
She made her professional career in the state of Maryland, serving mainly in Montgomery County where she was an executive secretary to the county housing authority until her retirement. She has been a resident of Homewood in Frederick where she was active in resident affairs.
Survivors include her dearest friend, Olga Bokailo of Homewood in Frederick; her niece, Donna Franks Jones of Almo, KY; sisters-in-law Edna Franks of Castro Valley CA and Joanne Franks of Scottsdale, AZ; her brother Richard M. Franks of Omaha, NE and many nieces, nephews, cousins, loving friends and her faithful pet, Scout.
Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers; Robert C., John J., James G., and William E. Franks.
