Patricia J. {Dayhoff} Stitts
January 11, 1946 — February 22, 2009
Mrs. Patricia J. (Dayhoff) Stitts, 63, who was an administrative assistant for Electronic Data Systems for 26+ years, died February 22, at her home in Dumfries, VA, after a 17 month battle with lung cancer.
She loved her family, quilting, baking and wild birds.
She is survived by her husband Michael; daughter Theresa Tameris and husband Cetan; son Shane and his wife Tiffany; four grandchildren Brittany Watson, Zachary Watson, Jessica Stitts, and Mikayla Stitts; three brothers Roland Dayhoff (MD), Mervin Dayhoff (OH), and John Dayhoff (MD); four sisters Romaine Reifsnider (MD), Betty Brown (MD), Barbara Campbell (OH), and Nellie Hall (SC); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services:
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD on Monday, March 2, from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 3, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Tarja Stevenson officiating.
Interment Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Rocky Ridge.
