Patrick Peter Harrigan

Patrick Peter Harrigan, 79, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Frederick Health Hospital.

Born on January 3, 1947, in Indiana, he was the son of the late John D. Harrigan and Estelle Harrigan.

He was a graduate of Purdue University earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Pat worked 20 years with Northern Indiana Public Service and later more than 20 years with Bechtel in Frederick.

He was a member of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity and Neelsville Presbyterian Church where he served as a Church Elder and Trustee.

Pat enjoyed woodworking, was a gun enthusiast, loved classic muscle cars especially his 1966 Cutlass 442, watching NASCAR and following Purdue University and Chicago sports teams. Pat and Carol showed Keeshond dogs for many years. He was a member of both the Capital Keeshond Club and the Keeshond Club of America.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol Harrigan; and a nephew, Daniel Keller.

Pat was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis J. Keller; and nephew, Mark Keller.

A celebration of Patrick's life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Neelsville Presbyterian Church, 20701 Frederick Road, Germantown, MD 20876.
