Surrounded by love, Patrick Michael Reilly passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, in Frederick, MD.

Born January 7, 1950, in Teaneck, New Jersey, Patrick was proud of his Irish and Sicilian roots, carrying forward the values and traditions that mattered most to him. He believed deeply in loyalty, responsibility, and the importance of providing for those he loved. He lived life on his own terms, with determination and unshakable resolve.

Patrick was nearing 55 years of membership in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) - a milestone that reflected not only longevity, but a deep commitment to the organization, respect for union workers, and pride in his trade. He began his career as an apprentice electrician with the IBEW, earned his full license, and worked his way up to the role of Business Manager for Local 68 in Denver, Colorado. His years of dedication and leadership ultimately carried him to Washington, DC, where he served as the Senior Executive Assistant to the International Secretary-Treasurer at IBEW headquarters until his retirement on October 1, 2005.

Throughout his career, Patrick was respected for his integrity, fairness, and strong belief in doing what was right.

Outside of work, Patrick enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Denver Broncos fan. In his younger years, he spent countless hours on the golf course, enjoying the game and the company as much as the challenge. He also loved fishing and time spent on the water.

Above all, Patrick treasured the quieter comforts of life. One of his greatest sources of peace and joy was spending time with his beloved fur grandbaby, Kobi, whose presence brought him calm, companionship, and happiness.

Patrick will be remembered for his strong work ethic, steadfastness, and quiet strength -qualities he lived by and passed on through example. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Reilly and Staci Reilly, and his fur grandbaby, Kobi Reilly.

He will be missed and remembered always.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
