Patrick Michael Vickers

Patrick Michael Vickers, born on August 16, 1946 in Chillicothe, Missouri, departed this life on July 19, 2026.

Patrick’s early years were spent in Chillicothe, where he attended high school, graduating in 1964, before further studies at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, graduating in 1989.

Patrick joined the military at the age of 18, spending 22 years before he retired as a Master Sergeant. He then applied his talents and intellect as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where his work reflected both technical excellence and deep professionalism.

Outside his professional accomplishments, Patrick found great joy in his personal interests. He was an active member of various pistol clubs and enjoyed camaraderie and sport at trap and skeet sportsman’s clubs.

Patrick is survived by his devoted wife, Ruth Vickers, whose partnership and support were central throughout his life. He leaves behind a loving legacy in his sons, Shawn M. Vickers and Todd R. Vickers, daughters-in-law Roxie and Heather, and his grandson, Alarik R. Vickers.

Patrick Michael Vickers’s life was one of dedication, quiet achievement, and steadfast devotion to those he loved. He will be remembered with admiration and respect by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

At his request a private service will be planned for the future.
