Paul Webster Wade, Jr.

Paul Webster Wade, Jr., 88, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, passed from this life on Monday, August 31, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Beverly Joan Wade for 65 years.

Born on January 19, 1938, in Boonsboro, Maryland, he was the son of the late Paul Webster and Naomi (Sherley) Wade.

Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked for Mack Truck for 33 years retiring as a supervisor. Paul was an avid sports fan, having coached little league and junior basketball. In his spare time, he loved to golf. During high school he played baseball, basketball, and soccer, serving as the team captain for both his basketball and soccer teams. Paul also enjoyed radio repair and woodworking.

He is survived by Son, Patrick Wade.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, David Wade, Nancy Derr and Kenneth Wade.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.

A celebration of Paul's life journey will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home. Pastor Ed Wade will officiate. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg, Maryland.
