Pauline Virginia Grimes, 97, of Thurmont, MD passed from this life on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Shippensburg Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Shippensburg, PA

Born on April 21, 1928, in Thurmont, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry Clifford and Cora Mae (Isanogle) Humerick.

Pauline was a graduate of Thurmont High School where she undoubtedly developed the foundation for her lifelong friendships and deep connections within the community. For 42 years, Pauline contributed her expertise as a garment inspector at Clara Frock, where her attention to detail and commitment to quality were highly regarded. Pauline was a proud member of the ladies' bowling league in Thurmont and cherished her time with the Red Hat Society and Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and AMVETS of Thurmont. These organizations provided her not only with companionship but also with opportunities to engage in meaningful activities that enriched the lives of others. A lover of adventure, Pauline found joy in bus trips to Atlantic City, where she relished the thrill of exploring new places and creating lasting memories.

She is survived by her children, Darrell Edward Weishaar and his wife Diann and Lori Jean Griffith and her husband Jeremy; grandchildren Drew and wife Bianca Weishaar, Matt Bollinger and Michaela Bollinger, Thomas Bollinger, Trystan Griffith, and Treysyn Griffith; great-grandchildren, Tiffany Weishaar, Mattie Bollinger, and Maesyn Bollinger.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Thurmont), 104 East Main Street in Thurmont, MD where a celebration of Pauline's life journey will take place at 11 am. Pastor Mark Eyler will officiate. Interment will be private.
