Pauline Catherine Stevens

Pauline Catherine Stevens, 88, of Boonsboro, Maryland entered into God’s Kingdom on February 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 17th, 1934, in Hagerstown, Maryland to the late Lillian S. (Shank) Babington and Clarence E. Babington.

At the age of 18, Pauline married the love of her life, Robert E. Stevens. They married in 1952 and have spent the last 70 years happily married, devoted to God and family.

Pauline worked for Washington County Public Schools as a Secretary at Boonsboro High School until her retirement in 1996.

Pauline’s Christian faith was an essential part of her life. She was a lifetime member of Boonsboro Bible Church. She was best known for her kind spirit and unwavering fierce faith in God.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert; sons, Ricky (Sandy) Stevens of Boonsboro, and Randy (Diane) Stevens of Hagerstown; grandchildren: Janine (Douglas) Suffecool, Janelle (Jeremiah) Weddle, Julie (William) Campbell, Jason (Christie) Phillips, and Jeni (Jim) Jarrell. Great-Grandchildren Elijah and Noah Weddle, Lillian and Adelyn Campbell, Jordyn, Natalie and MaKayla Phillips, and Morgan and CJ Jarrell. She is love and cherished by many people including her brother-in-law, Mike Lavelle, and her nephews, Rodney, and Troy. 

Pauline was greeted in heaven by her beloved sister, Charlotte L. Lavelle.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland where a celebration of Pauline’s life will take place at 2pm. Pastor Allen Robinson will officiate. Interment will be immediately following at the Boonsboro Cemetery in Boonsboro, Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boonsboro Bible Church.
