Mr. Paul Wayne Campbell, 54 of New Market, MD died Friday, April 20, 2007 at the Georgetown University Hospital. He was the husband for nearly 33 years to Susan Woolard Campbell.

Born in Cumberland, MD on April 27, 1952, he was the son of the late Mary (Sollars) and Paul George Campbell. A graduate of Allegany High School, Paul was an electrician with Crum Electric for over 17 years. Paul was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Cumberland.

A loving husband, father and friend to all that were fortunate to know Paul, his favorite times were spent with his son fishing and camping. He cherished the time spent at home with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, (with whom he shared his birthday), Matthew Wayne Campbell of the home; a nephew, Dale E. Campbell of Hagerstown; an Aunt, Margaret Leidinger of Cumberland; his Mother and Father in-law, John and Marlene Brownie Woolard of Rawlings, MD; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by his faithful and loving dog, Brownie. Paul was also preceded in death by a sister, Marian L. Campbell.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family Sharing Plan, c/o Julie Andrews @ Georgetown University Hospital, 3800 Reservoir Road NW, Washington, DC, 20007.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 24 from 6 until 9 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1601 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.

Services: On Wednesday, Paul will be at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, Creasaptown, MD where the family will receive friends from 6 until 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Cumberland. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Bobby Thornton, Ron Platter, Mike Kelly, Terry Forrest, Scott Lockard and Max Hohlfeld serving as pallbearers.
