Peter Stanton Coe, III

Peter Stanton Coe, III, 28, of Thurmont, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Frederick Health Hospital after a long battle with Lupus.

Born on March 28, 1997, in Silver Spring, MD, he was the son of Deborah Ann (Bane) Coe and Peter Stanton Coe, Jr.

Peter was an avid gamer he spent his life adventuring dungeons and fighting evil villains. He enjoyed animation and the culture surrounding it, he loved mythology, puzzle solving and enjoyed metal and rock music from all different countries. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was an incredible cook and a jokester. He had many interests all of them unique and special.

Surviving Peter is his beloved sister Shannon Coe, his niece Alecia Coe as well as mother Deborah Coe and father Peter S. Coe Jr., His grandparents Peter S. Coe Sr., Ceinwyn Gail Coe. As well as his Uncles Mark and Paul Coe, George and Don Bane, Karl Roesle, Great Uncle Paul Stephens, Aunts Jenny Roesle, Karen Bane, Angie Corviello, Tina Coe and Great Aunt Marie Harrington. In addition to multiple loving cousins and close friends.

Peter was predeceased by his grandparents Sarah and Don Bane, his Aunt Donna Barr and cousin Matthew Coe.

The family will receive friends on July 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sally Joyner- Griffin officiating, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main St., Thurmont, MD 21788
