Phillip Cummings

Mr. Phillip D. Cummings passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. He was 63 years old.

He was born in Monrovia Liberia in West Africa to the late Nimely Cummings and Anna Blio Bedelle.

Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Cummings of Frederick, Maryland. He also leaves behind his son, Emmanuel N. Cummings; and his three daughters, Melissa Williams of Syracuse, NY, Shanara and Kiya Cummings both of Frederick; his brothers, Charles and John Vogar both of Minneapolis, MN; his sisters, Emma Yah Hodge of Liberia, and Eugenia Sajery of Staten Island, NY; 13 grandkids; cousins, Daniel Texas Samuels, Sonia Gardner, and Gabriel Bowman; niece, Philiminah Kumah; and a host of other family members, including nephews and nieces; and many friends.

He was an active member of Bethel Worship Center in Frederick. Phillip will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace, my love.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick.

A celebration of Phillip's life journey will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022, at the funeral home in Frederick. Apostle Michael Scott will officiate.
