Phillip Eugene Stalnaker

Phillip Eugene Stalnaker, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather departed this life surrounded by the love of his family on March 17, 2026. He lived a life defined by dedication, service, and deep love for those closest to him.

Phil was the beloved husband of Janet Marie Stalnaker, with whom he shared 69 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a strong and loving family that continues to grow through generations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Whitman Sr. and Ica Mildred Stalnaker. He leaves behind his sister Joyce Allen, and his brother Walter Stalnaker Jr.

Phil leaves behind his loving children: Jeneva Carroll Hoffman (Walter), Jeanette Marie Stalnaker (Mario), and John Phillip Stalnaker (Becky). He was a proud grandfather to Shaun, Shannon, Heather; Kellie, Julie, Joey; Phillip and Patrick. As well as a cherished great-grandfather to Jacob, Reghan, Peyton, Austin, Austin, Bubba, Jasmine, Isabella, Easton, Nolan, Scarlett; and Ashley, Bryce, Logan, Brooklynn, Kaylee, Carter, Ella, Kinsley, and Alaina.

Phil dedicated nearly 50 years of service to AT&T, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. Outside of work, he enjoyed his lifelong passion as an amateur radio operator (call sign W3ICF, associated with F.A.R.G in Maryland) and was proudly involved with the Boy Scouts of America.

He will be remembered for his devotion to family, his quiet strength, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.

The family will receive friends and family from 1-4 pm on Saturday, April 25, 2026 to celebrate Phil's life at John and Becky's home.
