Ralph Tilton Brown

Ralph Tilton Brown, 70, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2025. He was the husband of Janice Lynn Brown for 52 years.

Born on December 11, 1954, in Washington, D.C. he was the son of the late Ralph Jefferson and Eileen Gertrude (Collins) Brown.

Ralph attended Montgomery Blair high School. He was a member of Covenant Church, Shepherdstown, WV. Throughout his career, Ralph was known for his home improvement skills, demonstrating that there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. Known for his funny personality and great sense of humor, he had the remarkable ability to light up any room he entered, bringing joy and laughter to all who surrounded him.Ralph lived a life characterized by his unwavering dedication to family and his remarkable talents as a jack of all trades.

Ralph leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory forever. In addition to his wife, Janice Lynn Brown, he is survived by three children: Crystal Downes and husband Eric, Kenneth Brown and wife Brandy, and William Brown and wife Ashley. Ralph's legacy continues through his six grandchildren: Jesse Remsberg and significant other Samantha, Sabrina Brown and fiancé Matt, Kadin Brown and significant other Lacey, Kylie Brown, Justin Brown and wife Nikki, and Greyson Brown and six great-grandchildren, Avery, Camden, Piper, Ryker, Hendrix, and Finnley. He is also survived by his sisters, Joyce Mattos and Colleen Longo, and husband Frank, and his brother Richard Brown along with numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward the memories of their beloved uncle.

As we remember Ralph, we hold close the memories of his laughter, his love, and his relentless spirit. He will be missed dearly, but his impact on those around him will be felt for generations to come.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Covenant Church, 7485 Shepherdstown Pike, Shepherdstown, WV 25443. Pastor Joel Rainey will officiate.

Interment will be private.
