Mr. Ralph Joseph Kidwell, Jr., 63 of Ijamsville, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Regional Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.
Born in Olney, MD on January 28, 1945 he was the son of the late Ralph Joseph Kidwell, Sr. He served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War era. Ralph was an accomplished self employed brick and stone mason.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie Ruth Harding Kidwell of Walkersville; a son, Michael R. Kidwell and wife Gina of Gaithersburg; two grandchildren, Ian and Samantha Kidwell of Gaithersburg; three siblings, Rick Kidwell and wife Patty of St. Simon Island, GA, Ruthie Ciufolo and husband Ken of Frederick, and Bruce Kidwell and wife Theresa of Germantown, MD; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A memorial service celebrating Ralph's life will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD. Interment will be private.
