Rebekah Yvonne Droneburg

Rebekah Yvonne "Becky" Droneburg, 70, of Rohrersville, MD, passed away from this life on July 21, 2025 at Doey's House in Hagerstown. She was the beloved wife of Robert Wayne Droneburg, Sr. for 51 years in April.

Born on December 7, 1954, in Olney, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Rudell Loy, Sr. and Mary Kathleen (Summers) Loy.

She attended Brunswick High School Class of 1972. She retired after 16 years with Toys "R" US Warehouse in Frederick and numerous years of employment at Tractor Supply in Hagerstown.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and her beloved Shih Tzu, Punkie. Her fun times were family cookouts, traveling to the beach and the mountains. She was a life member of the Alabama Fan Club. Randy Owens' Biggest Fan, not to mention a Scotty McCreery Fan Club member, attending concerts when she could.

In addition to her husband, she survived by her children, son, Robert W. Droneburg, Jr. and wife, Hilary (Esworthy), daughter, Paula J. Crammer, and her companion, Douglas (Wil) Sowers, and her beloved, Punkie; three grandchildren, Damian M. Droneburg, Seantae A. (Crammer) Gatrell and husband, Cortez A. Gatrell, and Emilee R. Droneburg; brother, Robert W. Loy, and wife, Lori Wilkinson; sister, Joyce A. Ott and companion, David Henry; several cousins; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles R. Loy, Jr and Chester F. Loy.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

A celebration of Rebekah's life journey will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. Rev. Dr. Karon Hammett will officiate. Burial will be held at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Rohrersville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD 21742, with a memo to include Doey's House.
