Regina E. Thomas

Regina E. Thomas, 82, of Petersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, February 16, 2026, at her home.

Born on September 3, 1943, in Henryton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Millie E. Thomas. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Charles H. Thomas and his wife Pearl.

Regina graduated from Brunswick High School and attended Coppin State College. She lived in Baltimore for four years and worked for several years at Coast Guard HQ in Washington, D.C. After returning to Frederick County, she worked for an export company and then at State Farm Insurance Co. where she retired after 29 years of service.

She was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St. Francis / St. Mary's and Holy Family Catholic church in Petersville. Her hobbies were crocheting and she was an avid reader.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa A. Disney and her husband Michael of Jefferson, MD; niece Brigitte Thomas of Baltimore, MD; nephew Charles Thomas and his wife Darnella of Westminister, MD; great nieces and a great nephew as well as numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Community Church, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown, MD.

A mass of Christian burial will take place at 11 am on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Community Church. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Petersville, MD.
