Remington James Jones

Remington Jones, affectionately known for his radiant smile and infectious laughter, passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 35. Born on May 9, 1990, Remington lived a life full of energy, creativity, and deep love for those around him.

He was a man of many beautiful qualities-loving, intelligent, honest, thoughtful, and sensitive. His easygoing nature and vibrant spirit made him a joy to be around. Remington had a unique way of lighting up any room, often described by his loved ones as “FUNESTY”-a blend of fun and honesty, a word lovingly coined by DaddyGak to capture his truthfulness, even when a little white lie might have sufficed.

Remington found joy in the simple things, especially listening to podcasts and spending time with his daughters, Jah’daya and Miyarah Jones, who were the pride and joy of his life. He was a devoted and proud father, never missing a moment to celebrate their accomplishments and share their stories.

He is survived by his mother Marlene King (Glen King), father James Jones (Maria Jones), sisters Symone' King and Maria Cury, brothers Kendrick Tubbs, Jose Guzman, and Gabriel Cury, his cherished daughters Jah’daya and Miyarah Jones, nephew Cyaire Brights, several aunts, and uncles. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Remington will be remembered not only for the joy he brought into the world but for the love he gave so freely. His spirit, laughter, and unwavering honesty will be deeply missed and forever celebrated.
