Renee Farmer

Renee Farmer, 52, of Frederick, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at her home.  She was the wife of Richard Farmer. Born on December 14, 1968, in Frederick, she was the daughter of Ronald David Cline and Ruth Blanche (Brubaker) Cline.

Renee was a 1986 graduate of Linganore High School.  She worked at F & M Bank, which later became PNC Bank, while also helping on her family's farm in Libertytown.  Renee made the decision to stay home with her two boys for a number of years, before starting to work at Head Start in Walkersville.  In 2013, Mrs. Farmer began working as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for Frederick County Public Schools, at Twin Ridge Elementary and Ballenger Creek Elementary Schools.

She loved watching her son, Nathan, play baseball throughout the years, both at Linganore and continuing at FCC.  She also enjoyed watching her son, Ian, play in the Linganore High School Marching Band.  Renee loved the beach, traveling, taking cruises and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Nathan Farmer and Ian Farmer; a daughter, Kristin Cheeks, her siblings: R. Jason Cline, Rhonda Ballard and husband, James, and Roni Cline and fiance, Scott Hooper; a niece: Sydney Cline; and her nephews: Tyler Cline, Jared Hooper and Liam Hooper.  She is also survived by numerous other family members.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.  A celebration of Renee's life journey will take place on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Bush Creek Church of the Brethren, 4821 A Green Valley Road, Monrovia, MD  21770.  Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
