Reverend James Arthur Morgan

Reverend James Arthur Morgan, age 66, of Boonsboro, MD, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

He was born on December 7, 1957 in Paden City, WV, and lived in other parts of WV, PA, OR, VA, OH and MD. He graduated from North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was the school mascot. 

Jim was a fun-loving free spirit who embraced experiences and knowledge while always staying true to himself. He was a lively conversationalist who loved to tell a good story. He was deeply loving and proud of his family including all his and their pets. His many years of involvement with the One Heart Community of Charlottesville, VA was also a very important part of his life.

Jim worked hard as an oil salesman before becoming a Reverend of the Universalist Church later on in life. He most recently worked for Costco in Frederick, MD. He was a lifelong loyal Steelers fan and loved anything Pittsburgh related.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly June Morgan and Art (Jeanne) Morgan.

 He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Anne Morgan; children Jessica Paul of WV, Rick Morgan of FL and Danielle Leggette of VA; grandchildren Trev, Kyla, Kelsie, TJ and Desi. He also leaves behind sisters Betty Henderson and Jane Morgan, both of PA and nephew Jim (Val) Henderson.

 Jim will be remembered for his extreme generosity and the love he shared with all those around him.
