Mr. Richard Blades Berdahl, 81 of Frederick, MD., died Friday, July 23, 2010 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital He was the husband of Rose Schilling Berdahl.
Born June 17, 1929 in Hoople, N.D., he was the son of the late Andrew and Florence Blades Berdahl.
Mr. Berdahl was a member of Trinity United Methodist, Frederick. He served his Country in the U. S. Army. Richard started the Senior Resource Center helping many families throughout the Frederick area.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children James Berdahl and wife Gemma of VA, Jon Berdahl and wife Carol of MN and Anne Ubl and husband Steve of Bethesda, grandchildren Andrew and Alex Berdahl, Alessa and Justin Berdahl and Christopher and Clara Uhl, a sister Helen Lerud and brother Charles Berdahl both of ND.
Services will be held Monday, July 26, at the Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
