Richard W. Blumenauer

Richard William Blumenauer, 67, of Jefferson, entered his eternal home on December 3, 2024. He was the husband of 45 years to Brenda Blumenauer. Born on March 2, 1957, he was the son of Emma Grace Blumenauer and the late William Blumenauer.

Rick was an active member of the Jefferson United Church of Christ. He practiced accounting and tax services for about 40 years. Rick enjoyed supporting his family at sporting events, rarely missing his grandchildren’s games. When he wasn’t supporting family playing sports or enjoying vacations with family and friends, he was constantly finding new projects around the house.

In addition to his loving wife Brenda, he is survived by his son, Tom Blumenauer and his wife Emily, a daughter-in-law, Mandy Blumenauer and his grandchildren, Lily, Jackson, and Harper. He is also survived by his mother, Emma Grace Blumenauer, brothers: John Blumenauer and his wife Sallie, Brian Blumenauer and his wife Amanda as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Brad Blumenauer.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 9 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation an hour prior from 10 to 11 AM, at Jefferson United Church of Christ, 3837 Jefferson Pike, Jefferson.
