Robert L. Dixon II

Robert L. Dixon II, (Robbie) 61, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at his home in Thurmont, MD.  

Robbie was preceded in death by his son, Caleb Dixon. 

Born on May 28, 1962, in Frederick, MD, Robbie grew up and spent much of his life in Brunswick, Maryland. He was the son of Robert (Louie) Lee Dixon, Sr. (Audrey) and Joanne Sigafoose Bullock (Charles).

In addition to his parents and step-parents, Robbie is survived by his Daughter Jessica Dixon (Andre); grandchildren, Jaylen Lee, Elwyne Wordlaw Jr, Janelle Wordlaw, Amaya Myers & Cameron Dixon; Brother, Tim Dixon; half-brothers, Jake Myers (Angela), Jeff Dixon and Dustin Dixon, and half-sister Kristi Bostian (David); Fiancé, Kathy Powell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Robbie will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather and friend. He had many hobbies and interests from playing his guitar and singing country music to hunting, fishing, watching the weather and enjoying life. He was an avid Baltimore Orioles, Washington Commanders, and Capitals fan. He was also mason for 25+ years. 

Robbie was a member of the Brunswick Fraternal Order of Eagles and American Legion. 

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD where a celebration of Robert's life journey will take place at 11 am. Rev. Tim May will officiate.  Interment will be private. 

Following the service, a “Celebration of Life” will be held at The Fraternal Order of Eagles; 401 Central Ave. Brunswick, MD from 12:30-3:00.
